So It was our last evening in Lisbon during our May 2022 trip. We took the Metro to the Baixa-Chiado station. When we got up to street level we were greeted by some street musicians, playing for the crowd.
After watching and listening for a while we went looking for a dinner spot. There were a lot of small restaurants, Fado Bars, clubs, and shops.
After wandering around for a while, we finally ended up at a nice Taco Place. Barrio Alto is very hilly, and therefore many restaurants either build a veranda that ends up allowing the table to be level or they use “Boosters” on some of the table legs to account for the slope.
We Had some Delicious Tacos but they were really different than our definition of Mexican Food.
After Dinner and several Margaritas we made our way back to the Metro Station and we treated to another live performance, this time by street acrobats.
The Next morning we were up early to catch our Flight back to the USA.
