I met Alicia Fryer (Ali) during my and her career’s in Real Estate, in about 1990. It turns out that we both lived in New Jersey, in the same town, literally blocks from one another at the same time, but never knew each other until we met in Florida. Small World.
We did a lot of stuff together as we hung out with the Real Estate friends, but the first time we traveled together was to Ali’s son’s (Jonathan’s) wedding in Isla Mojares, Mexico, in November of 2003. We went with Ali and her husband Larry, and another Real Estate friend and her husband, Karen and Richie. We called ourselves the “Sex Amigos” (six friends in english).
I have included here that trip, then a cruise in December of 2005, and a return visit to Isla Mojares in June 2006, also with the “Sex Amigos”.
Since then, Fitz and I have traveled with Ali on several occasions to Europe, mostly Spain and Portugal, and in September of 2024 hooked up with her in Florence Italy, where we spent several days touring the city. Then headed out to a small town in Tuscany, Vicchio Italy. We spent a month touring Tuscany in a rental car. Then took a train to the Amalfi coast, where we spent a couple of days (should have been more) visiting the towns there. We boarded a plane to Faro, Portugal and spent the rest of October in Albufeira.
