September 4 – 8 2024, We split Budva for a Winery in the highlands of Montenegro. We stayed at the Djonovic Bed & Wine, and it was a slice of heaven. The host and his wife, Sasha and Aleksandra, were unbelievably friendly, hospitable and helpful. As soon as we got there Sasha gave us the grand tour of the Winery and insisted that we have wine and rafia (spelling) that he had homemade. While we were drinking with him a group of welcome neighbors started showing up. We were ultimately invited to a village wide “harvest” party beginning in another couple of days. Some of the names of the people were lost by us, as we were introduced to so many people during the party, so here is a partial list of those we can remember. ( I am sure I misspelled some of them)
