We are still getting over the colds we picked up in Morocco, so we’re taking it easy. But that’s easy to do in Tirana, as it is such a laid back location. The new rental in Tavira (Bombarda House) is awesome and because Alexandra, the host, lives here sometimes, it is 100% setup for life, unlike many other B&B’s that were never lived in by their hosts. Lots of books to read, both in English and Portuguese, comfortable furniture and a cute patio area with extensive plantings of huge trees in pots and all kinds of smaller pots overflowing with vegetation. I read “The Danger” by Dick Francis, on of my favorite British writers, clipped some of her succulents for my garden back home, and did a lot of walking around town…
