Had our cup of coffee, then took taxi to the “park” at the top of the nearby mountain(hill). Nothing like we would call a park, but we had fresh squeezed orange juice up there and walked around. Eventually, went down to the Clock restaurant with a taxi (all the taxis are shared). Really a cool place! My photos are very colorful. I got a chicken tagine and Fitz got a Moroccan breakfast, both steaming hot.
Met a young couple Mary Hannah from Texas, with her boyfriend Andrew from the UK. They suggested we should visit Scotland and we suggested they spend time in the Algarve, Lagos in particular. It had just stopped raining by the time we were done with the restaurant, so it was perfect timing for us to head back to our room for maybe a nap or something.
We ate dinner at Gilatos again, this time shared a sea bass with mango sauce and cheese croquettes (for like $25 US). We walked there and walked back, no rain luckily. The owners were so nice they even gave us a free cheesecake dessert because Fitz gave them a glowing review, they beamed.
Sorry to leave Morocco, have to say, our old friends were right, the people are so hospitable. Everyone was very super nice to us, and expected nothing in return.
