Our place includes breakfast, so that was rather nice. (Later, we found out it didn’t, oops). We took the “Hop On, Hop Off” bus tour of the city, & it did not disappoint. Today was a discovery day, the San Nicholas Mirador view was excellent. We stopped off for Padron peppers & met a cute young couple from Istanbul, Turkey. Fitzy took a great shot of me in front of a Moorish door. The Alhambra was viewed off in the distance from every vantage point like the Acropolis was in Athens, Greece. It’s quite impressive.
We even stopped for a free tapas included in the wine & beer drink we had. Lots of people were also there!
Later went out again for a really nice meal. I had Russian dish of potatoes, shrimp, crackers & mayo, while Fitz had a plate of sardines all fried & salted. Both meals were delicious. We hung out & people-watched, then later walked back to our hotel, but not before stopping for gelato. Early to bed around 10:00, but we were tired.
