Said our goodbyes to Lisbon Portugal and landed back in Florida USA just before Thanksgiving day. As our condo in Pompano Beach, Florida is rented until April of 2025, we instead stayed at the La Costa Timeshare on the beach.
We were on a mission to buy a vehicle large enough to lug our stuff in storage up to Noah’s (my Son) place in South Carolina. And, combined with that, we wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving with our Grandkids, Tyler and Sam, before thy moved to Delaware. Also we wanted to squeeze a dinner in with our friend and neighbor, Merti.
Well, as you can see, mission accomplished.
We had a non-traditional Sushi Dinner for Thanksgiving.
Then, after loading up our new (used) van with our stuff, we had a nice meal with Merti and then hit the road for south Carolina.

Our Take
Back to Florida. We want to get along with our life, so we will try to sell our condo this year, so we can be more free where to retire to.
We are still thinking about some places in Europe. But we may also invest in a tiny home on Noah’s property in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, Rebirth Retreat.
Let’s see what the future holds.
