June 8, 2024. The festivals in Lisbon were in Full Swing! We went to many of the locations throughout the city, but our favorite was the festival at the top of the Gloria Funicular. The music was non-stop, canned, DJ, and live. People danced, ate, and socialized. Everyone sat at long tables that were shared as people came and left. We met some really fun folks.

This is Armando, He was sitting across from us when we first sat down. He was there by himself just enjoying the day.
We sat we these 2 wonderful couples who both emigrated from Brazil. They came for jobs in IT and are doing pretty well. They are both relatively newly married. Rodrigo and Cadrina & Bruno and Melina. (hope I got the spelling right)
These folks were fellow Americans from Philadelphia. Frank and Shari were enjoying their time in Lisbon, and obviously loved the party.
Here are Nei and Lu who were visiting from New York, but were originally from Brazil. Nei is a carpenter and Lu owns an Airbnb back in Brazil. They love to travel and may even relocate to Portugal. (hope I got your name right)
