July 19, 2024: Cleaning up day. Going out to diner at Otto’s Restocafe. I had fettuccini alfredo with chicken, while Fitz had a salmon pasta dish. I also had a gelato of pistachio & blueberry.
July 20, 2024: Very cool experience for me: Fitz & I are walking around town, a young gal comments on my look or style and asked how old I was. (Mind you, I was wearing grey athletic shorts, my purple/black t-shirt) I said 70, then corrected myself, because the truth 74, sounded so old. They were impressed and said they hoped they looked as good when they’re my age. Very Cool!
July 21, 2024: Started diet of teaspoon of turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon to a cup of coffee to lose weight. heard about it from the internet. It even tasted good. we had a great breakfast of French toast, 2 eggs over easy and hash browns. The hash browns were awful. We ate at this cool place with art everywhere, “Bitter Bistro Bar”, statues, paintings and drawings.
July 22, 2024: Took it easy at home during the day today, because it was very hot (100°F) then went to Wintergreen Cafe for drinks.
July 23, 2024: Another Day at home, Fitz went out and got some Greek Takeaway.
July 24, 2024: Big day today, took a taxi to the area near Bunkart 2. Went to lunch at a very cool (But temperature hot) garden restaurant called “Oda Garden”, Had very greek dishes family style, Grape Leaves, Spinach Pie, Fergese, and Lima Beans, Absolutely wonderful. Explored that area and ended up at a nice bar just outside of the castle “Millennium Garden”, they had misters and we hung out there for a few drinks. Then stopped by Bunkart 2, but didn’t take the tour. We then walked back home, but were hot so stopped at a local place, “Syri Kaltin”, for more refreshing cocktails.
