Took the bus from Cadiz to Seville, Spain then to Tavira, Portugal. Today was a travel day which means a complete waste, but I use it to reflect on the time I had. or maybe the people I met. Fitzy likes to sleep then, I’m too wound up though.
Tavira, Portugal is a water town. We got a room overlooking the water. Our small room does have a Juliette balcony so we can see the water and feel the salt air. We were told to check out the rooftop terrace which was very nice and had great views of the city, especially at sunset.
We have a beautiful hand painted tile feature around our mirror in the bathroom that looks ancient and cool.
We go for drinks at this cute little bar called Ofelia’s. Fitz has a gin and tonic, while I have a Moscow Mule. For dinner we share a sea bream, giant prawns, potatoes and veggies but I still couldn’t finish it all. It was delicious.
